My paintings serve as visual windows into the lives and identities of their owners.  My work is primarily created as oil paintings but having a multidisciplinary approach allows me to explore and develop my work as an artist. My use of materials, particularly oil paint is essential in conveying my ideas for the paintings, to enhance its visual impact. Through deliberate colour choices and symbolism, I try to engage my audience with memories of human experience. My paintings intend to capture the essence of everyday items with character rather than strict precision, evoking memories to preserve a feeling.

Each carefully chosen object offers the viewer a glimpse into the individual’s life, serving almost as a visual portal. My paintings are not portraits in a traditional sense, using facial features, but by using objects they symbolise the same representations of identity.
